Do not train a child to learn by force or harshness; but direct them to it by what amuses their minds, so that you may be better able to discover with accuracy the peculiar bent of the genius of each. - Plato

Bubble letters
Cut out letters and write letters on paper.
Add washing up soap, water and paint in a bowl.
Let little Koala blow a straw into the bowl and spoon out bubbles
and hang the paper over the bowl.
We sang silly songs-
Blue Bubbles on letter B.
Bb says "b" "b" "b"
Mix can be stored for finger painting later, more bubble painting or added to corn flour gak.
Papier mache beads
Add strips of newspaper to water and soak for a few hours.
Tear paper into small squares and leave in water over night.
Drain.
Let little Koala
add mixed white craft glue and water
and mix it with their hands!
Wrap pulp around stick of paint brush and squish into a ball.
Slide off.
Leave to dry for few days.
and then paint the beads!
Little wooden cubes
These little wooden cubes were purchased from a cheap shop. $2:50 for 72. We purchased 3 bags and plan to write numbers and letters on them.
But for now they are being used for sorting colours!
Sorting the cubes onto their colour onto plates.
Seeing how they fit in the tray
