A morning with little Dingo

It all started with a visit to Sea World on the Gold Coast to see the12 new penguins, six king and six gentoo, in their $12 million Penguin Encounter.

The penguins are from New Zealand and their new enclosure is kept at a constant temperature of one degree below zero.

Sea World make up to three tonnes of snow a day to help replicate Antarctica and keeps the water in the display at a constant 5 degrees.

My little Koala fell in looove!

SO.

Little Dingo came to play with Koala and have a morning in our Little Aussie Home School.

We had rencenlty picked up these books at a Salvation Army second hand shop for $1 each.

The boys had half a frozen juice box each to get into the feel of it :) It might be the end of summer but it was 30* and really HOT!

We painted squid

 and whale puzzles.
(paint is left overs from bubble painting with some flour added)

I put these in the freezer the night before. The freezer was full of containers!

The dog enjoyed the icy cold water and even took a dip.
