Things we use that cost next to nothing!

These are the words from the word bingo. We purchased this from a school carnival for $1.
Each Monday Koala picks 5 words and we spend the week making up things to do with them so he learns the words.
The best one so far was twister!

He puts the cards on the mat and

I say right or left foot or hand at the same time as tapping that body part.

He then twists himself up trying to put his hand or foot on the matching word!

This is a penguin game i printed online for free. I used a cereal box and Brother Kangaroo help Koala paint the fish. Then i laminated the cards.

Koala finds the big letter and matching little letter and feeds them to penguin- while penguin BURPS their sound!

These are 1-5 number cards from a 25 pack purchased at a $2 shop. Printed numbers of the net. Rubbers from a $2 shop and threading buttons from a second hand shop.

I put the whole lot in a bag and ask for his help to sort it out. Koala loves to be my helper so he gets stuck into anything like this straight away!

$2 for box of tiny rubbers in $2 shop. Perfect for counters!

Ice cube tray and base set and plastic tubes $2 shop.

This is kanga testing it out while Koala was having a nap.

Recycled coffee jar

rice
glitter cut ups $2 a bag from $2 shop
find things around the house that you have two of
